How long have Soirée DJs been DJ’n?

All of our DJs have a minimum 10 years professional DJing experience.


What’s your backup plan if something happens to the DJ?

If the DJ scheduled for your event is not available, another DJ will be appointed to your event.


Do you bring backup equipment?

Each piece of equipment has a backup redundancy on-site so that if any single point should fail then we can continue our performance.

Will the DJ play requests?

Our DJs “filter” requests, so that they will not play a song/genre that you do not want played. We have an online planning & music app that will allow you to make request lists before the event.


Can we bring our own music for the DJ to play?

Yes, but we would like to receive the music file(s) in advance of the event.


What are your payment terms?

The retainer is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event date. Payments can be made via Interac e-Transfer, PayPal or cheque.

When should I book my DJ?

A good time frame is 9 to 12 months before the event.

What services do you offer?

We offer DJ services for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events, and private parties.


How many songs can I request?

The number of songs you request is totally up to you! We recommend giving your DJ 10-15 “must play” songs of different genres & artists that you would like to hear. This will leave room for your DJ to play to the guests at your event. During your initial consultation, your DJ will ask about your music preferences.


Do you have samples of your DJ’s work?

We have mixes posted here that you can preview. You can also find hundreds of audio & video samples on our Instagram page. Keep in mind that each event we do is unique to the client so the music will vary for every event.
